When you think of the holiday season I suspect you’ll be thinking about long hot summer days with hours spent lazing on the beach. We believe that even the coldest season can be a great time to indulge yourself in a holiday, especially somewhere as beautiful as West Wales.

Everything looks beautiful when covered in white
The world comes alive with colour during the summer months, which of course is great for those who love the natural landscape! However, there is something wonderful about seeing fields, hills and castles; all sparkled with a glittering dust of frost. Or on the rare occasions, even some snow!
It isn’t quite as busy
When you take a summer holiday you are likely to find that your destination (or even getting to your destination) a little on the busy side. Planning in a winter break means that wherever you go isn’t likely to be too busy. Whilst spending the day on the beach becomes less of an option, there are still plenty of other things to do and even more pleasurable when quieter.
Who doesn’t love a winter walk?
Grabbing those coats, gloves and winter woollies and heading outside in the cold air is something that we love about winter. So, if you book yourself on a winter holiday, you can really make the most of the bracing, fresh air and go on a winter walk.
