The Old Cowshed (sleeps 16)
As the name suggests, The Old Cowshed was originally designed to accommodate up to 48 dairy cows. Built in 1864, the original design included a mezzanine level to house the farm workers, this was removed as farming methods changed and height was needed for the tractor.
Ground Floor: Large open plan kitchen, dining and living room. Six individually designed bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. Utility room and disabled shower room.
Mezzanine: Games room, complete with pool table, flat screen TV and a good section of DVDs and games. 1 double bedroom, en-suite with shower over bath.
The Guestbook
A stay that has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of parking. Caters for a large group while in keeping with the style of the farm aesthetic.
The open kitchen area was a corner stone for the weekend with plenty of space, cooking ware and the beautiful solid wood furniture.
Everyone slept in good comfort and would thoroughly recommend this space.
The pizza oven is a must!
What a phenomenal stay. The location and the view were perfect. The hosts were extremely friendly and communication was super effective and easy. Would highly recommend booking. I only wish we’d booked to stay longer.
The Cow shed was the perfect venue for our family weekend away. Four generations from 4 to 87 were accommodated. Something to keep us all accommodated. Two televisions allowed the kids watch their programmes while we watched the rugby. We all enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The standout feature for us was the massive table that meant we could all get round it and have a conversation. We are already planning on returning next year. Thank you.

We had a wonderful weekend at Tanylan Farm, with a wedding close by it was a perfect location. The Old Cow Shed was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Stunning views and a dip in the natural pond is a must, the best way to start your day. Highly recommended.
