Hawton (sleeps 6-8)
Originally named Danylan, this traditional longhouse once served both farmer and livestock from the early 16th century until it was later converted into workers accommodation. It was more recently restored to provide three high quality holiday cottages.
Both the Longhouse and Bryntowy are quintessential examples of 16th century cottages in South West Wales brought to life for your pleasure.
Ground Floor: Lounge with wood burning stove, dining area, kitchen with breakfast area, utility room, separate toilet and basin.
First Floor: 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. 2 twin bedrooms. Bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and basin. 2 put up beds are available upon request.
Exterior: Enclosed front garden with seating. Enclosed rear garden with seating, hot tub and BBQ. Pizza oven available on request. Dogs welcome.

Well equipped, clean, open space. Extremely suitable for a long weekend away and we would certainly visit again.
A beautiful house with plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing completed with the hot tub which was a favourite. Nicely finished with plenty of parking.
Hawton cottage was perfect for our family break. The cottage was really well equipped, extremely comfortable and catered for everyone, including our dog!
We loved the hot tub and the pizza oven which were available for our use.
We walked along the coast path and visited a number of local castles and towns- recommended by the cottage owners and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing family holiday.
Even when the British summer gave us torrential downpours, the house was cozy and warm with books and games plus excellent internet access to keep everyone entertained.
Family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Cottage was simple to find and check in was easy. We were met with a plate of Welsh cakes, the heating on and the hot tub ready for us to use. Lots of books/DVDs/board games available which was nice.

Directions from the M4
Take junction 48 off the M4 and follow signs for Pembrey Country Park. At Pembrey follow A484 to Kidwelly. Turn at the corner shop in Kidwelly and after 400yards turn left onto the coastal road. Continue for 2 Miles and Tanylan Farm is on the right. Tanylan Farm is situated between Ferryside and Kidwelly on the Coastal Route of the Celtic Trail West Wales.

Lovely few days spent here at the cottage. Plenty of space for everyone, well equipped kitchen for cooking. Nice location allowing us to explore the Gower and local area. Extra bonus a private hot tub, excellent value for money!!
